Our Democracy

It has been years since I last posted. Life has taken me to other places and jobs that have required all of my attention. I can again focus on what is important to me after years of struggle and other distractions. We have just witnessed the acquittal of an American President who is/was clearly involved in criminal activity. I won’t get into this fact to extreme, will just say that our whole democratic way of life is at stake. Democracy depends on the will of the People. People decide what is important to them. We think what is important is our families health, welfare and success. We strive to make a good living and offer the best education, resources and nutrition. We strive to inspire ourselves and others to think beyond the box and find solutions to our personal and planetary problems. This POTUS is making our issues all the more complicated by his insistence on focusing on his own priorities and that of the 1%. Sure, he says he cares about our pocketbooks and children but his actions say loud and clear he is more concerned with lining his own pockets and seeking his own personal fame and glory.

I believe it is imperative to get a Democrat in office the next election. Please take time to really analyze this guy and find in your heart that he is doing nothing for our environment except to call Climate change a hoax and relax regulations making it easier to pollute our air and waterways. He is doing nothing to help our health system but is destroying Obamacare. He is a fraud, liar, con artist and mass deception artist. Please vote for the alternative this November!

I often think of myself as that aging child Joni Mitchell spoke of so many years ago. I'm eternally grateful for all of my blessings, and know any moment could be my last.
